Founded by the Computer Research Institute of
Montreal (CRIM) and a group of researchers in 1995,
Cognitive Group is the first company in Canada specializing
in cognitive ergonomics.
Because Cognitive integrates cognitive ergonomics
with business analysis, we have a unique ability
to analyze how people handle complex situations
and processes, and to design processes so that they
are performed in the most efficient way possible.

History
Our team originally worked in contexts where human
factors had a critical impact on security, such
as in the aerospace and energy sectors.
Surprised by the success of our approach in these
sectors, we founded Cognitive Group.
Team
Cognitive has the first concentration of expertise
in cognitive ergonomics in Canada.
The members of the team:
- Are professionals in the User Experience, possessing in addition a solid basic
training in a technological field
- Have an average experience of over 15 years
