The usability principles employed in an expert review address navigation, understanding, readability and visual clarity, coherence, error management, expectation management and attention management.

Method

The goal is to detect usability problems by expert review (with 1 to 5 experts), according to usability principles and guidelines.
 
Some organizations rely entirely on expert reviews (sometimes called heuristic evaluations) to validate usability. However we believe that to guarantee an understanding of all of the key aspects of the user experience, it is necessary to combine this approach with informal usability tests performed with end-users.

• Graphical report allowing the reader to easily understand and apply the recommendations
