Managing Information Flow in Real-Time
Piloting an aircraft is a complex task where flight safety is directly linked to the pilot’s cognitive load. In critical situations, pilots must often assume manual control while processing a massive flow of information from avionics, air traffic control, and environmental sensors.
Currently, the risk of performance degradation due to information overload is a significant hurdle. Traditional cognitive analysis remains manual, invasive, and too slow for operational use.
02 | The InnovationReal-Time Thought Capture & AI Supervision
The C-Pilot project bridges the gap by creating a supportive, reliable artificial system that acts as a true cognitive partner. We are transforming the R&D landscape by replacing manual data collection with an automated, intelligent process.
Our contribution focuses on the development of a specialized device for the real-time capture of "think-aloud" protocols. AI agents supervise the capture of expert reasoning, validating the deterministic cognitive state of the pilot in milliseconds.
Setting New Standards for Regulated AI
This project serves as a cornerstone for Cognitive Group’s leadership in AI-driven organizational transformation. By participating in high-stakes aviation research, we are:
- Optimizing Human-Machine Collaboration: Developing agents that ensure safety through seamless interaction with human experts.
- Eliminating Invasiveness: Moving away from expensive, manual collection processes toward a streamlined, real-time digital workflow.
- Cross-Industry Application: While focused on aviation, this real-time capture technology is directly applicable to decision-making in other regulated sectors like Finance and Healthcare.
